Faces of Tomorrow is a boardbook for babies and toddlers written by Mary Gordon; the photographs are by her daughter, Melanie Gordon. (I always love a mother-daughter team!) There are words in five languages on the left-hand pages – those are for the parents. On the right-hand pages are phototgraphs of babies’ faces. Those are for the babies or toddlers. Little ones love babies!
I loved to read to my children, and I love to read to my grandchildren! Sadly, seven of my eight grandchildren live in different countries, with only one local. But I can still read to my grandchildren over a video chat. The one-year-old in England especially likes this book, and it works well over a screen because the photos are big, taking up the whole page, so easy to see.
Don’t let distance keep you from reading to your loved ones!
