Life Giving Words

Words are powerful and can bring life or death to someone’s soul.

On this site I seek to use words in a way that will encourage you on your life’s journey as you seek to walk with God.

When I was in my mid-thirties, a mom (maybe a few years younger) approached me and gushed, “I just want to sit at your feet and learn from you like in Titus 2 where Paul says the older women are to teach the younger!” I’m sure I smilingly mumbled some words in reply, but inwardly I was in shock: “Me? An “older woman”?” I guess since I had children quite a bit older than her littles ones, she looked at me as someone further down life’s path…older!

Well, I am now in my sixties and can embrace the adjective “older.” I am ready to share from decades of reading God’s Word daily, and seeing God’s utter trustworthiness in all circumstances, including raising and homeschooling ten kids.
